QUEST FOR A HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT

What is the best thing to do to contribute to make a healthy environment?   What is the ideal thing to make and execute in order to achieve a healthy environment? What is the proper way to have a healthy environment? But we have to admit it we can not do this alone.  We need a lot of hands to make this place, a better place to live in.   Many of us are hoping that our government will try its best to give us a safer place to live in.  We actually urging the government to help us implement viable programs for our surroundings that will give us a healthy environment and thus will give the community a healthier home for the people. We always consider and think that under the quality health services of our government there is the program for our environment.  This will envelope the people with a healthy atmosphere.

DIABETIC DIET

People suffering from diabetes have their body not producing enough insulin, leading to an increase in blood sugar. In this condition, you have to consult a diabetes doctor for the illness. Definitely, he will give some tips regarding proper diet. If you are diabetic, keeping a strict compliance for a diet is difficult and time consuming. Choosing the right food requires a little knowledge on food nutrition. In all human, the major food components are the fats, proteins, and carbohydrates. And carbohydrates have the greatest impact on the blood sugar. To be able to closely monitor the blood sugar, following the Glycemic Index (G.I.) of the foods is a good reference. It is being used worldwide by diabetic conscious people. The Glycemic Index (G.I.) is a numerical number assigned to foods rich in carbohydrates. The scale runs from 0 to 100. Foods that are easily digested and absorbed faster have a higher Glycemic Index of 70 and above. Reading of 56 to 69 is medium or intermediate GI, while 55 and below is low GI. For diabetic people, low GI foods are the best for a stable blood sugar. Diabetics are not restricted from eating too much of these foods. Their low GI diet focuses more on nutrition and balance diet. But to ensure that they get the proper nutrition it is recommended that they mix low GI foods with high GI foods. Aside from the low G.I. foods, they have to choose foods that are rich in fibers. High fiber diet enhances glucose absorption but slowly, and its high fiber content will reduce sudden increase in glucose. This will prove by eating fruits (apple, banana, pear, avocado, peach, plum, raisins, strawberry, etc.) and vegetables (carrots, tomato, beets, broccoli, celery, onion, potato, etc.) with high fibers. High fiber foods can also be found in cereal, grains, pasta, beans, nuts and seeds. Other foods with medium to high G.I. must be avoided or eaten in moderation. Following are the general index of foods: HIGH GI food, are the bread, pasta, rice, cereal and baked goods; LOW GI food, are fruits, vegetables, whole grains and legumes. If you wanted to be more specific you can get the GI index book or find out in the internet. There are lots of online site that give the specific list of almost all foods with their corresponding Glycemic Index(GI).Following the Glycemic Index is simply a matter of being better enlightened about the carbohydrate choices you have to eat each day. Simple changes in your diet can have a profound effects, it requires caution in your intake. There are many emerging diet being offered. Whatever they are, the purpose is the same, to cut down on carbohydrates. Sugar is added in many food products. Almost all snacks contain insignificant amount of sugar. In some of the sweet products or food, sugar is added to make it sweet at the same time preserving them. In some products they put a label of being sugar free. But actually, still certain amount is present. Be careful.

Of staying fit…

Everyday seems like a rat race.  You work, you eat, you sleep, and you get up.  It is always a cycle.  It is a routine that goes on everyday.  Sometimes there are more of great work than the ease of sleeping and resting.  From there, you know for instant what is lacking and what needs to be done.  There must be an exercise to keep you fit.  Everyday, there are 1,440 minutes.  If you spare at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise for at least 5 times a week, then you maintain a healthy lifestyle.  Go for a brisk walk on a warm day.  You can do some stretching on the other day.  Inside the house there are a lot of chores that can make you burn some fats and excessive calories.  Grab some groceries at the store with your bike and it can give you some sweat.  Dancing can be fun in a party you attend to.  A dip in the pool or a swim in the beach in a family treat can get you in shape.  Get engage in sports!  Choose the best of what you can do well and make it a routine.  With all of these and a balanced diet coupled with the right hours of sleep, then you are well fit!  Life goes on as time flies so fast.  Make use of your time well, getting on with what you have to do and what you need to do.  You need to stay in shape to keep your body fit before time passes you by, as it will happen soon.  So, with the race everyday, you can be geared well first on the line to enjoy life and love it too.  It is not easy keeping everything balanced but if you make it a habit, you can make it after all.

One of the best programs that we are looking forward is a sustainable health program.  We are looking forward for a health program that will lasts for several generations.  In this case, we long for something that will be our guide to attain an ideal health program that can be of great help not only for a certain individual or a group but for the entire nation.  And thus, this is a big leap for a true development for people from all walks of life.  There will be a time when we consider this place to be free from any emerging diseases; a disease free zone.  There will be a big eventuality that we will be having the healthiest people from all stages of life.  The people will no longer have a problem in terms of health, in terms of the different diseases and in terms of resources for the health.

We love challenges.  We love trials.  We love to dare the responsible people in handling the health programs.  We need a genuine development that will help us established and institutionalized an effective health program for the entire constituency. We need to draw attention for the authorities to give chance to sustainable, viable and accessible health programs for everybody. We aim to reach a perfect time to achieve a nation that is free from any health hazards; where health will no longer be a problem.  Once it is institutionalized, we will be the healthiest and happiest individuals.  It will only take   the proper authorities to help us establish the ideal health programs.  With that we will be able to work well; our meager budget will not be sliced for our medications and hospitalization. This will only take our guts to speak up and go to the right persons for a help and assistance.

THE MISERY OF BEING SICK

No one would want to be lying in bed and get sick. No one would want to feel the woes and worries of being ill. No one would want to suffer and appear weak.  And the most terrible that will happen to us is to depart from this life that fast and easy.  It is terrifying and alarming to know that death rate is increasing.  It is so sad when you loss somebody who is very dear to us.  It is emotionally stressing and physically draining.  The mere fact of knowing that somebody very close to us is sick and his health is exposed to danger, we already feel the agony of being ill. We feel the pain and the and the risk that your beloved is going through.  And all of these, the misery of being sick is very evident in us. This is  very depressing and so melancholic and we just wish these should not be happened anymore to anybody.

THE REASONS WHY ONE SHOULD NOT BE EXPOSED TO HEALTH DISEASES

One will be exposed to danger if we continue to be doing things that are health hazards. Our lives will be at risked.  Our lives will be in great jeopardy if we continue to be careless with what we do and be oblivion with the right things to do.  We will be in danger if we continue to have a lifestyle that compromises our health. All of these, they will make our lives so miserable.  And with finality, we do not want to be at risked and be exposed to the different health dangers.  And for the so many reasons and valid at that, we do not want to die. This is because death will stop everything in us.  But I believe that these can be avoided and can be treated our sickness if we act according to health advisories. With the professional help from our medical practitioners, these diseases can be stopped and thus we will not be exposed to any health peril that may come our way.
