CAUSES OF VERTIGO
One of the causes of vertigo is the BPPV or Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo and the other is the Meniere’s syndrome. BBPV vertigo is a result of an inner ear problem. In this condition, your balance is affected by the buildup of tiny particles inside your inner ear. This tiny particles float in the canal of your ear, and any movement also moves the particles brushing the tiny hairs that detect movement. So the hairs are mistakenly transmitting a wrong message to your brain. With Meniere’s syndrome, this is related to change in the volume of fluid in the inner ear. The vertigo that is caused by Meniere’s may be accompanied by nausea and vomiting. And shortly after the attack of Meniere’s, causes the patient to begin to sweat, have abdominal pain, and bouts of diarrhea. This disorder can last from 1 day to several weeks and may be accompanied by feeling of weakness.
